Toddler House "Hipoosheet" In our children's house we take care of children from
the age of one to three years. The number of children
in the children's house changes each year according to
the demographics of the kibbutz.
The children are taken care of from 7 am to 4 pm. This
includes serving 3 meals a day, changing diapers and
providing for their educational needs. The children
have access to an outside playground, a soft corner
(pillows and stuffed animals), a "play house" area and
a place where we read books and sing songs.
Throughout the day the children play and do different
activities, according to their developmental age, as
well as their individual needs.
One of the main characteristics of this age is the
need to acquire motor skills and independence.
Therefore, one of our main goals is to allow the
children an open atmosphere in which to develop these
skills.
We celebrate holidays according to the Jewish calendar
and we also learn through the environment in which we
live: the desert, trees, animals, rocks and birds
around us. We experience these things through the use
of native materials.
