Kindergarten "Ashalim" Gan Ashalim - the kindergarten in which our eldest children (28 yrs old today) received their early education- has now merged with the early education system of neighboring Kibbutz Lotan. Twelve children from Ketura, eight from Lotan, plus six from other settlements in the area all learn under one roof now. This cooperation was initiated with the goal of saving money, resources, and manpower; enlarging the "student body" and - at the same time, creating another facet of contact with our neighbors.

The kindergarten in open from 06:45 every morning until 4:00 p.m. A certified kindergarten teacher is aided by three other adults in providing the children with varied learning activities - physical, creative, and social- six days a week. We realize the importance of these years (4-6) in preparing our children for their future- academically, socially, and morally- wherever it may find them. We are proud of the facility and of all we have to offer.
