Become A Member

Ketura is actively looking for new members to join our community. Both new immigrants and native Israelis are eligible for membership. We accept people who have careers that would allow them to work outside the kibbutz. We are looking for excellent people who can make a serious contribution to our community. At this time, we are particularly interested in singles, and couples in the 25 to 35 age range who share our ideals. The foundations of these ideals are equality, democracy, pluralism, a tolerant and understanding outlook on Judaism and Jewish traditions, dedication to community and the desire to lend a helping hand.

We currently have no family housing available. We will only start accepting families again once we do.

We want and expect candidates for membership to be active both socially and professionally, to become invested in the kibbutz and to take personal responsibility for its future. Join us as we grow and change and continue to build our kibbutz.
